Bio: Chimamanda is a Nigerian born Author who hails from Enugu State in the East of Nigeria. Adichie is one of the most admired new generation authors with international acclaim. Her book Half of a Yellow Sun is set to be released as a film in 2014 Staring Nigerian born actor Chiwetel Ejiofor, also of Eastern Nigerian origin.

Chimamanda has won numerous awards for her writings including the Orange Broadband Prize in 2007, one of the most prestigious literary awards in Britain for her book Half of a Yellow Sun.

Chimamanda is married to Ivara Esege, a Medical Doctor in Lagos.
