Happy Valentine’s Day?
Hello everyone. This is to wish you a happy Valentine’s day. As you know, especially for those of you who are adults, Valentine’s day is a day where people set out to show special love to their lovers.
As an individual, does this day hold any importance to you? Personally, if it is declared a public holiday I would be the happier about it, but it’s only a day when most people put on clothes with a touch of red and claim to walk in love when we could simply walk in love every other day, you know.
In our world today, Valentine seems to be celebrated more by the single lovers than married couples apparently, this is something that is quite baffling given that the married are the ones who should have the legitimacy to do WHATEVER they wish for each other (As much as they can afford of course) so I ask the question, why do the singles enjoy Valentine’s day than the married? Could it be the drive to have that other person as yours? Could it be that after that person becomes yours they lose value to you? Could it be that married people tend to have more responsibilities to care for than an imaginary special day for lovers? What’s your take on the matter? Let us know if you believe single lovers appreciate Valentine’s Day more than the married and why you have chosen your stance.
